APPLE TREES

How could the puny apple tree, planted in the garden of his house of Chevreuse in 1994, at the birth of his son Constant, have generated the triumphal series of Apple trees?

It is of these mysteries that can be explained only by the fact of creation.

The apple trees in this series are a true hymn to life, joy and nature, both through the material that mixes sand and acrylic and by the expression of colors. The apple tree appears, majestic, raising its branches towards the sky, like a chalice.

After the series of Feuilles, elements also present in the background of the canvases, the apple trees represent, for the artist, the opening of a new horizon, a new form of creativity.
