The GRATALOUP Museum
Opened in March 2022, the Musée GRATALOUP is housed within the Prieuré Saint-Saturnin, in the historic heart of the Vallée de Chevreuse (Yvelines).

Since its opening, it has welcomed thousands of visitors each year, drawn to a vibrant and ever-evolving space.
Each season, the museum presents a thematic exhibition devoted to the work of GRATALOUP. Designed as true immersive experiences, these exhibitions combine painting, sound, and light within an original scenography.

Bilingual podcasts (French / English), created for both adults and children, accompany the artworks. In the Contemplation Space, a video projection evokes the artist and guest creators, while a sound and light show illuminates the priory’s vaults in harmony with each exhibition’s theme.
The museum’s garden also hosts internationally renowned contemporary artists, extending the dialogue between GRATALOUP’s work and today’s creation.

A place of sharing and transmission, the museum also offers an educational program for teachers, schools, and cultural organizations, as well as creative workshops open to all.

More than a museum, the Musée GRATALOUP is a living space where painting, voice, and light respond to one another — offering a new way to see and feel contemporary art.
