The GRATALOUP spaces
Three Places, One Purpose
To celebrate, share, and preserve the work of GRATALOUP
The GRATALOUP Museum — Chevreuse
Housed in the Prieuré Saint-Saturnin, at the historic heart of the Vallée de Chevreuse, the Musée GRATALOUP presents each season a thematic exhibition accompanied by immersive scenography.

Sound podcasts, light projections on the priory’s vaults, and rare video footage of GRATALOUP interact with works by guest artists.

The experience is sensory, spiritual, and poetic, a reflection of the artist’s universe.

The GRATALOUP studio — Chevreuse
Just a few steps from the museum, the Maison-Atelier GRATALOUP remains the living center for the conservation and management of the artist’s work.

A private space, it houses his paintings, models, and personal archives, carefully preserved by Milena Grataloup, the attentive guardian of his artistic legacy.
The GRATALOUP Art Space — Nantua
In Nantua, his birthplace, rises the Espace GRATALOUP, designed around the monumental fresco The Spirit of the Lake (2015) — the artist’s final work of urban art before his passing in 2022.

Rooted in his Catholard origins, this space dedicated to the painter’s memory will open in December 2025, within the Haut-Bugey Tourist Office.

It will invite visitors to discover a spiritual and luminous universe, true to the spirit of GRATALOUP.
