TRIBUTE TO CLAUDE MONET - THE NYMPHEAS

"I wanted to find the sunken drawing of Claude Monet by tracing, on a paper, the traditional water lilies. I would cut them up and scrub them. I would get the drawing. So I would just do the colour.

I was setting up these chromatic scrubs where the oil pastel could
actually chromatically engulf the drawing; a real «Homage to Claude Monet».
