1971 - 1980 WAVE
Still very fascinated by the sea and the movements of the waves, GRATALOUP created in 1971 a second series on this theme after that of the "Irish Sea". Some of the paintings in the series will be reworked until 1998.
We can note the evolution of the painter’s technique through the addition of metals in his work ("Grande Vague en 1998).
