1975 - TANTRA ASANA
These large-scale works are made in the workshop of 37 HB. They correspond to a search for harmony of human actions, from the physical to the mental. Tantric Yoga is an example for the artist.
"At that time, it corresponded to a look at Tantric Buddhism. Tantra Asana is a metaphor for the creation of the world. At the time, I wanted to make a set of erotic positions. I was very inspired by François Cheng’s book «Tantra Asana». This series of canvases is an alliance of shapes and colors in a curtain of foliage that reminds us of the ancestral hangings of the Cluny Museum of «The Lady with the Unicorn».
