Rediscovering the mountain of Seals, GRATALOUP will take up a theme many times declined in his work.

We can however note the appearance of the simplification of the graphics of these canvases, via the flattened colors.

The series will be exhibited the following year (September – October) at the Galerie Jacqueline Moussion (Paris) and at the Salon de Mars (Paris).

"It is Sceautres and its basaltic mountain that, this time, is amplified by light rays separating light and color. If the rays found in the sky, it is to defeat the darkness. This Ardèche mountain has been declined many times, as it suggests to me as unexpected luminous moments."
