On a trip to Corsica with his cousin Milena, GRATALOUP will make a number of drawings on the motif in front of the cliffs of Ajaccio.

These will give rise to a series, realized in 1992 in his workshop of 37 H.B "The cliffs of Ajaccio".

Polychromy, the use of copper and brass foil is very present in this series.
