TREE OF KNOWLEDGE

I was told that these are very old majestic trees possessing the Knowledge. Their knotty roots sink deep into the earth from which they draw their life force, offering each spring new blooms, all unimaginable in their differences.

GRATALOUP is like those trees. None of his series resembles each other even if the pictorial writing remains the same, thus signing an inexhaustible, unfathomable and secret creativity belonging only to him.

"For a gardener, it is only the tree of Joshua but that will become the Tree of Knowledge. For here is man - ecce homo -, then, under his shadow, man and woman, Adam and Eve. This tree reveals its internal morphology and its visible truth". Is this immortal knowledge?
