1999 - MASSABIELLES INSTALLATION
"It took until I was sixty-four before I went to Lourdes for the first time; luckily, the day of the solar eclipse.
I wanted to follow the classic pilgrim route: water, cave and religious service. After that I got in my car and drove off, put on the radio where we were talking about the eclipse. It was said that the Indians, on that day, bathe in the Ganges to later be reborn as a Brahman. I wanted to try the experience with Lourdes water and I sprayed myself with it. As I was still driving, the sky opened up and a great force of love fell on me.
When I got home, I started the "Massabielle" series. I still have eight stations to design. The stars are watching us ..."
