OBJECTS
From 1996, Grataloup will begin the realization of objects that he will present under cubes, pyramids of plexiglas.
Each of them signs in the material an experience or event lived by the painter: his spiritual encounter with light in Lourdes, the crash of the planes on the twins towers, a tsunami ...
"My objects are my 3-D canvases"..
INSTALLATIONS
The incarnation of spirit in matter is what creation is all about, and Grataloup likes to stage it through its installations:
2002 - GOLDENED LEAF TENT ON SAND
Stained glass designed by Grataloup and manufactured by LOIRE workshop (Leve - France)
Exhibition Cordeliers Museum (Châteauroux) (August 2006)

The Prophet's tent, 3 m high, entirely covered with small gold leaves and placed on a bed of sand collected in Lacanau, represents a surface area of 16 m2. It seals the duality of shadow and light, inside and outside, night and day, mystery and revelation. Often presented at the major exhibitions of GRATALOUP, it imposes its silence in the midst of the tumult of those who look at it.
