In 1993, the SNCF and the city of Paris launched a competition for the interior decoration of the RER station Porte de Clichy. Winner of the competition, GRATALOUP will be inspired by the idea of a mountain to climb and the hardness of the rock to install an Awakening of Plant and Mineral on the three levels of the station station.

The first level proposes a plant variation, which gradually transforms into a mineral landscape and finally arrives on the third level, where we discover the top of the mountain, with a rainbow.

'There were three levels. I thought about going up or down from a summit. The mosaic imposes its durability like a rock. From the bottom up, the plant, the rock, the top with the rainbow."
