1984 - STAIN GLASS, LA VARENNE SAINT-HILAIRE

During a meeting with a manager of the Center Israelite of La Varenne Saint-Hilaire, GRATALOUP proposes the realization of a stained glass window.

On it, we see Mount Sinai, struck by light, emerging above the incandescent red sands of the desert, which itself seems to rise above the waters of the Red Sea whose blue waves occupy the lower half of the picture.

With a Catholic church, a Muslim mosque and finally a stained glass window for a Jewish community, the ecumenism of the artist is thus expressed totally.
